Okay I was actively trying to upgrade my WR and after much failure have 2 trades on the board to consider. Any advice or words of wisdom are appreciated. Leave a link to yours and I'll return the answers and hopefully the wisdom.
We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE), D & K My team: Brees, RG3 Lynch, Ridley, Forte, Alex Green (had Ced Ben.), Darryl Richardson, Turbin Percy Harvin, Steve Smith, Sydney Rice, Andre Roberts Kyle Rudolph, Brandon Pettigrew Seattle Justin Tucker
#1 My RG3
for his
VJax...I know RG3 is worth more but I've been trying to trade him for awhile and can't get anyone to budge. I tried for AJ Green which I knew was unlikely. He also has Megatron but his counter was VJax so I'm thinking that's the only one on the table.
#2 My Forte and Sydney Rice
for his
Victor Cruz and Doug Martin...my original offer was Ridley and Roberts for Cruz and Martin which he countered with the other.
So do I do 1 or both or none?
This whole thing works better if you actually participate! HELP ME TO HELP YOU...
No way would I trade away RG3 for VJax. You should be able to get Megatron for RG3 depending on his QB situation as Megatron has been a disappointment so far. The second trade is much better but I still don't like it as I have Doug on 2 teams and he has done nothing but disappoint me.
Standard Non-PPR w/ FLEX QB: Matt Ryan 2 RB's: Foster, Matthews, Murray, Spiller, R. Bush, J-Stew 2 WR's: Percy, Julio, Nicks, Cobb TE: Graham, Witten D: Bears K: Bryant
I agree RG3 is two awesome for such a small return. If no one is budging on RG3 have you thought about moving Brees? Or are you worried about an RG3 injury. You should be able to get better trades with him just from name value. The second trade worries me just because of how the bucks have used Martin recently. The goal carries for Blount are concerning while with forte you know the yards will be there. I wouldn't make either.
I don't like #2. Don't let people low-ball you. You know his value. Target owners who can't afford to lose a game or don't have a decent starting QB during bye weeks.
I like #2. I think Green would be just fine in a flex position with Martin as a backup, or vice versa. You'd still be pretty strong at RB. But, obviously, this would be a nice jump up at WR.
