Murray/Stevie for Morris/Dez WHIR

Postby mycuccismells » Fri Oct 19, 2012 7:42 am

A little worried about Murray's health moving forward and wondering if i should try to move him. I think the Stevie for Dez portion of it is a slight upgrade for me even though i dont necessarily trust either of them. I worry about the health of Murray and i worry about Morris hitting a wall so not sure who i would prefer to roster. This is a .5PPR and here are some notes:

1- I also have RG3 currently so i would have 2 Redskins
2- Trent and Morris share the same week 10 bye week so i would be starting Sproles as my RB2 that week

I've been wondering about trading for Morris is one of my leagues. Obviously, it's hard to trust him because of Shanahanigans, but he has been proven to be at least a consistent fantasy player. Murray has shown flashes, but as you said, is definitely an injury risk. Without that though, Garrett has said that he'd prefer to be a running team, so it's not like he won't get the opportunities when he's back and healthy, but who knows when that will be. I've heard that the foot injury could be a potentially long

I think you get a better WR with Dez. He's definitely looking like option #1 in Dallas (28 targets past two games). I haven't really been following the Bills, but know they've been having some issues. In addition, Dallas has already had their bye week, while I think the Bills still have theirs upcoming, so you get an extra week out of Dez.

I say make the deal. Washington's offense has good potential, so don't mind having two of their strongest players. Also, Sproles isn't a bad RB2 for a bye week.

Good luck.

I trust Morris' health more. only risk is if Dez can keep it up, but so far he looks like he will.
I say do it

Im not all that worried about when Murray comes back, until week 10 i would have McCoy/Trent/Sproles to play in my RB1/RB2/Flex spots. Im a little more worried about whether it will be more of a timeshare situation when he comes back if Felix does well. Felix was the starter last year so im a little worried about Murray losing some of the load when he gets back. Do you guys think thats a potential issue??

I would agree, and I have Calvin/Antonio Brown/Hartline as my other WRs and i only start 2 so if Dez falls off its not the end of the world. Thanks

We ended up agreeing on Murray for Morris and Britt. I had Hardesty as the handcuff for Trent this week so dropped him to clear up the extra roster spot.
