Right now I have three possible tight ends to start in a non ppr league
Olsen vs. DAL: probably my best option skillwise, not crazy about the matchup Cook vs. BUF has a pretty good matchup and has been decent lately Bennet vs. WAS: he has been pretty bad lately, but he is going up against the Redskins who have got absolutely torn up by tight ends this year (only one game where a tight end didn't score on them).
I would actually go Cook on this one personally, with Bennett my 2nd choice. I think Hasselbeck will look for a safety valve often - and I think Cook will get you 60-70 yards at least. He is a safer option to get you some yards at the very least, and I think Olsen is due for a big game but I wouldn't feel good about playing him just yet. To be quite honest, I really like all three guys this week so you really can't go too wrong with Bennett or whatever other decision you make.
Cook - probably get you 4-7 pts maybe a td Bennett - more upside a little more risk than Cook maybe 2 or 3 or 10-12. Olsen - not a fan of the matchup either
Bennett - As someone mentioned before, WAS has been beat up by TEs all year. Olsen- The pass defense suggests this is a bad match up, but LBs on a TE is a mismatch all day. I think Olsen has a decnt day. Cook- Hasselbeck didn't make Cook look solid, Locker did. For whatever reason, he doesn't go to him as often. They play a soft pass defense this week, but I don't see him having more than 45 yards this week.
I personally have the same dilemma between Olsen and Cook..I'm going with Olsen here - Dallas does an awesome job at eliminating their opponents no 1 target, therefor smith will put up a dud..Olsen is cam's clearcut number 2 and he will go to him early and often IMO..I'm projecting 6-7 catches for about 70'yds and a TD - that's just me tho
12 Team PPR BIG $ LEAGUE QB - Matt Ryan (J. Freeman) RB - Arian Foster, Reggie Bush (Ballard, Starks, Bell) WR - Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall (Nicks, Britt) Flex - Eric Decker TE - Jared Cook, (G. Olsen) D/ST - MIA K - S. Graham
