Had two trades vetoed in one week. Fair?

I am in a 12 man standard scoring league on yahoo. I am currently number one in points and number two in the standings and these trades were with two bottom 4 guys to give you some context, I believe it takes three votes out of twelve to veto but I am not 100% sure.
First trade was I give Steven Ridley Andy Dalton and Felix Jones for Tom brady (guy has almost all rbs on a bye)
The second trade was I give Matt Forte and Torrey Smith for Ray Rice
Both of these trades were vetoed and I question the motive for these vetoes.
Do these trades seem fair and if not are they lopsided enough to warrant a veto or were people in my league conspiring to keep my team from improving? Let me know your thoughts in this hard justice type scenario.

Seem fair to me...especially the rice trade.

The first trade was a little lopsided but then again I traded Ridley away for Megatron and no one in my league voted against it. The second trade was more than fair but you definitely "win" in both trades. All in all I think your league is being unfair at least in the second trade.
