Hi everybody. I have caved to the draw that is fantasy sootbal. I have a pretty good team, but wanted to run a proposed trade by all of you.
I'm in a 10-team league.
Standard vanilla league: No PPR, No Flex
QB/WR/WR/WR/RB/RB/TE/K/DEF
Roster:
QB: Brees
WR: R. White / P. Harvin / R. Wayne / A. Brown / D. Jackson
RB: T. Richardson / M. Turner / BGE / F. Jones
TE: R. Gronkowski
K: Bryant / Tynes
DEF: Atlanta / Minnesota
All players are listed in order of my typical start depth chart. I know many people laugh at having 2 kickers and defenses, but Atlanta was just on BYE and I didn't necessarily want to throw those away. Therefore, I have room to make moves. Felix Jones I just picked up for this last weekend, and have no affinity for him.
I want to upgrade my RB situation, but I want to ask if I should bother. Sometimes it's better to do nothing at all. I have what I consider to be a great receiving corps, and want to trade some of the depth for a decent RB that might fill in a starter slot. Here is the trade on the table:
I give: A. Brown & BGE
I get: W. Mcgahee, K. Britt, & K. Ogletree (yeah, I know)
So, can McGahee be the possible starter I need by giving up this depth??? I know what the "projections" say, but those are all but useless in real life. What do you think?
