Postby nefelim » Mon Oct 22, 2012 10:38 am

A guy in my league has RGIII and Peyton in our league and can only start 1 QB. im in need of a more solid QB option and am pretty stacked at RB. Im thinking of offering him Arian and Luck for his Shady McCoy and Peyton. Would you take it? Am i giving too much?

12 team league with standard scoring
My team:
QB (start 1) - Tony Romo, Andrew Luck.
RB (start 3) - Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, McFadden, D Richardson, Alex Green
WR (start 3) - Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Hakeem Nicks, J Gordon, S Hill, Avery
TE (start 1) - Aaron Hernandez
DST - Patriots

I like Arian/Luck combo better, so I wouldn't make the trade. The downgrade from Foster to McCoy is more than the upgrade of Peyton over Romo/Luck combo, IMO. If you want to get a QB, you have much more ammo to use than giving up your best RB. Use Lynch, DMC, or TRich and pair one of them with Luck, straight up to a team with two elite QB's. Someone you nabbed a Brees early, but also snagged RG3, or someone who grabbed Matt Ryan as their backup.

Anyone else think this is a bad idea?
