I have the #3 waiver priority, and could use some help at RB, so I think this week I have to use it on one of these guys. Based on my roster, which of these guys likely is the best pickup for rest of season. This is also a keeper league, I get to keep 3 guys in the rounds they were drafted in, so all these guys would be last round keepers if kept. Cant keep guys 2 years in a row.
My Roster: QB: Vick RB: Rice, SJax (Rice keep elidgible for keeper next year) WR: Welker, Decker, Maclin (welker not elidgible for keeper next year) TE: Rudolph Flex: James Jones K: Graham D: Green Bay
Bench: Alex Green, RB Darly Richardson, RB Kendal Hunter, RB Andre Brown, RB Michael Crabtree, WR Andrew Luck, QB
Im thinking I drop Brown first, then Hunter to get these guys
Jennings' status depends on how serious MJD's injury is. I'd wait on that. If it's for more than a couple of weeks, I think Jennings is a really nice pickup for sure. But if you're looking for the rest of the season- I still think Mendenhall presents too much upside to pass up.
I've learned over the past two seasons to never trust the Arizona running game. And as for who to drop- I'd consider dropping Kendall Hunter. I know they target him on 3rd and short in the passing game on occasion, but that offense is just too balanced for me to trust anyone but Gore and Davis (and even Davis wasn't thrown to last week). Plus, Brandon Jacobs cuts into Hunter's workload too. He's a good player, but in a lousy situation as far as fantasy relevance goes.
