Pettigrew available- who do I drop? WHIR

Postby Habslive » Mon Oct 22, 2012 6:40 pm

My TE situation is okay, but it could be better. It's a 12 team PPR league.

QB: Roethlisberger, Ponder
RB: Foster, Charles, Spiller, Jacquizz, Tate
WR: Green, Colston, Rice
TE: Gresham, Cook

Who do you drop for Pettigrew? Anyone? I could drop Jacquizz but that leaves me with three TE's. I could drop Gresham but he's actually been a top 10 TE. So has Cook. Is this worth a roster move? He's a FA so no waiver implications if I do this before game time. I'd have to drop Jacquizz since he's the only one on a bye.

I think its a wash with your current TEs, I just dont see the upside of making this move.

agree with above, don't see much of an improvement over your other te's(if I did pick him up would definitely drop one of your te's for him-my choice would be Gresham he just drops way too many passes)

Thanks guys. Think the same applies to Chris Cooley? I know he's a returning Redskin, but with RG3 the offense is probably brand new to him. Still, he's a nice Heath Miller type of safety valve.

Did you just compare Cooley to heath miller? Miller is a borderline great tight end while Cooley wasn't in the nfl until today. Come on man.
