Trade A.J. Green, with a twist

RB: Foster, McGahee, Ballard, F. Jones, Tate
WR: AJ Green, Fitzgerald, Bowe, Garcon
TE: Graham
K: Tynes
D: Oakland

His Team:

QB: Newton, Fitzpatrick
RB: McFadden, Lynch, D. Brown
WR: A. Brown, Dez, Britt, Decker, Hartline
TE: Gonzalez, Rudolph
K: Bironas
D: GB

Alright, I've had a couple other offers proposed to me recently, and then had them cancelled while I was thinking about them, but I'm still looking for thoughts on this one.

I was just offered:

His: Cam Newton, McFadden, Dez

for

My: A.J. Green, Freeman, Ballard

Obviously the biggest piece in this puzzle is me giving up A.J. Green. I know that McFadden is injury prone, Dez hasn't been that consistent, and Cam hasn't been much yet (and with Ryan I don't really need a QB) ... but ... McFadden has talent, and a great schedule going forward, he has a chance to really do something this second half of the season. Dez can sure have his moments, and Dallas does have other weapons that need to be covered as well, unlike the Bengals. I also end up with Cam.

Now ... the twist.

This week our league had a team get taken over by a new owner ...

His Team:

QB: Rivers, A. Smith
RB: Charles, P. Thomas, J. Stewart, R. Brown
WR: Harvin, Burleson, Maclin, Amendola, N. Washington
TE: Miller
K: Prater
D: Atlanta

Now, I was thinking that if I did take the offer above I could try to get a verbal commitment to something like the following:

My: Newton, McGahee, Bowe, (and?) Dez

for

His: Charles and Harvin

What are some thoughts on the deal as a whole and just the initial deal?

In essence if everything went through I would be giving up A.J. Green, Cam Newton, McGahee, Bowe, Dez (maybe), Freeman, Ballard for McFadden, Charles, and Harvin

Or perhaps I should keep McGahee and just go after Harvin with say Newton and Bowe, or Newton, Dez, Bowe ... or try to grab Harvin and Maclin.

I know it is a bunch to consider, any help would be appreciated.

That first offer, I don't like considering the state of your WR corps. Fitz is suffering because of the QB situation, as is Bowe, and who knows when Garcon will be back. Dez is too inconsistent. I think once Graham comes back, you're only weakness is at WR after Green. Willis is a serviceable RB and you should take a look at the remaining schedule for the Broncos. Personally, I think you should just bypass the first guy alltogether and see what you can get from the second guy. If you could give up some combination of Fitz/Bowe/Freeman/Willis for some combination of Harvin/Maclin/Charles, you'll be set up nicely.
