Bored of QB/Flex questions? How about D/ST?

Postby leffe186 » Tue Oct 23, 2012 11:59 am

I'm in a big league (18 players), so there's usually nothing left on the waiver wire worth fighting over (Free Agency? Don't make me laugh :-b). I need advice on whether to pick up a D/ST on the WW this week - and if so, who? There are decent points for fumbles and interceptions. I'm only interested in the next five games.

Games are usually tight, and the right D/ST can make a difference. I won the last game in part because I brought the Browns D in for the Colts, and my oppo went insane and picked up the Saints D.

I have the Browns D/ST (schedule SD/Bal/BYE/@Dal/Pit)

Waiver wires that interest me:
Broncos D/ST (NO/@Cin/@Car/SD/@KC)
Buccs D/ST (@Min/@Oak/SD/@Car/Atl)

Trade offer on table:
Ravens D/ST (BYE/@Cle/Oak/@Pit/@SD)

(1) I like the Browns matchup this week, not so much the rest of the games.
(2) Broncos this week is terrible, rest of the games look great.
(3) Buccs are not great, but better than the other alternatives.
(4) Ravens BYE this week plus injuries. Schedule looks OK.

I'd like to wait until next week to pick up the Broncos, but you can pretty much guarantee that someone else will get there first.

HELP!
