Who at Flex? WHIR

Postby hotpocket » Tue Oct 23, 2012 1:11 pm

This is a 1 PPR 12 team league.

At Flex I have Brandon Gibson, Brian Hartline, and Kyle Rudolph available. Who should I start? I'm thinking Gibson. I could also pick up Josh Gordon from FA, but I don't really see him sustaining anything.

What's your guys' opinions?

I would say between either picking up Gordon, or Gibson. I can see St. Louis getting behind forcing Bradford to throw. Hartline has slowed recently, and Rudolph is hit or miss.

Agree there.

I picked up Gordon to throw on my bench and see, but I will start Gibson. I'm just hoping Hartline doesn't blow up for 30 points or something and I'll have him on my bench...again. Though if he does I'm selling him immediately.

Agree with Gibson. Hartline is hurt, Gordon is a big-play, few catches kind of guy and Rudolph was shut out last week.

Hartline has a very tough match-up this week against the NYJ, who are allowing the fewest fantasy points to WRs this year. You can cross him off the list based on that I think.

I usually don't recommend flexing a tight end, but Rudolph is probably your best bet to get touchdowns, they don't call him Rudolph the red zone reindeer for nothing. I might go with him based on that. My only worry is that the Vikings passing game looked awful last week against the Cards, so Rudolph got the goose egg. I watched that game though, and he was targeted in the end-zone. He should have a better game this week.

Gibson seems to be the main man in StL with Amendola out, so he should get a lot of looks in a game where the Rams will have to pass to keep up against NE. I could see going with him too, but I'm leaning slightly towards Rudolph.

Here's mine: viewtopic.php?t=527243
QB: R Griffin III, A Luck
RB: A Foster, F Gore, T Richardson, K Hunter, M Hardesty, A Green
WR: V Cruz, M Austin, P Garcon, S Moss, B Hartline
TE: J Witten
K: Matt Bryant
D: ATL.
