Ray Rice for Victor Cruz?? WHIR

I have a decent team in my 2 keeper league. However, I am weak at RB. My current starting line up

QB Rodgers (A. Luck is the back up)
RB1 Trent Richardson
RB1 J. Stewart, Mendenhall (injured), D. Williams, Ingram, J. Bell
WR1 V Cruz
WR2 H Nicks
WR3 M Wallace

I also have Denarius Moore, K Britt, M Williams as my other WRs.

I offered Mike Wallace to another owner for Ray Rice. He countered Ray Rice for Victor Cruz. Fair offer in my opinion and probably helps both of us. One other factor is to keep Ray Rice next year, I will have to sacrifice my 2nd round pick and for Cruz only a 4th rounder.

Thoughts on this deal? Maybe package Nicks and one my bench guys for a two for one?

I like this trade for you. Ray Rice is a beast and you are much deeper at WR than RB

You defiantly can't beat getting Rice in a keeper league. He consistently produces from year to year.

I'd do that for sure. You're limiting yourself if you play Nicks and Cruz together too since you're really relying on Manning having a good game if you do that. Seems like a good trade to me. Any chance he would take Nicks over Cruz? I've just always been a fan of Cruz over Nicks...

Thanks for the response on mine. Absolutely do this, Rice is a huge upgrade and way more reliable than any of your RB2 and you have the WR depth to take the hit on Cruz. Even without your WR depth, you probably have to take a deal like this, pull the trigger.

yeah, you're winning this trade in a big way. rice is probably the second most consistent RB behind foster.
