RB Trade WHIR

Postby serbdogg » Wed Oct 24, 2012 7:49 pm

My Team
QB Matt Ryan, Flacco
RB Ray Rice, MJD, DeAngelo Williams,
WR Wes Welker, P. Harvin, DJax, Boldin, K. Wright, L. Moore
TE Tony Gonzalez, J. Dressden, B. Myers

Other Team
QB A. Rodgers, Palmer
RB Sproles, Alfred Morris, A Brown, S. Jax, R. Jennings
WR Mike Wallace, H. Nicks, Josh Gordon, S. Rice, Garcon
TE Jimmy Graham, O. Daniels

Current Proposal: SJax, M. Wallace for Harvin and player of my choice. Who should I pick? I am almost tempted to offer Harvin and Gonzo for Sjax, Wallace and Jimmy Graham. Thanks. WHIR.

I guess Harvin is the sell high guy in this deal. I actually like Wallace more anyway. If you can get this deal done, I'd do it. I am not a big SJax fan but he seems to still have some gas in his tank. If you can throw somebody weak in, then do it.

I see Wallace and Harvin as almost equal, so with the addition of Jackson I would take this trade especially if you can get Graham.

Agree with the guy above, Harvin and Wallace are about equal. Do it to get SJax. I wouldn't push it by asking for Graham, that would be highway robbery.

Help with mine?

If this is a keeper league I would stay put. But can understand your reasoning to acquire SJax with Rice on a BYE and MJD OUT for Week 8. Throw Boldin into the mix and make it SJax/M.Wallace for Harvin/Boldin. Boldin is bench fodder for you at this time anyway.

Im just so reluctant to give up on him b/c Harvin is one the highest scoring WRs. Our league is PPR and non-keeper (12 team league).

You could counter and send him Welker/Boldin for SJax/Wallace and see if he bites on that.

I like the proposed trade above. I'm big on Harvin and think he's better than Wallace if you can give up Welker instead I'd do that especially with Hernandez back for NE, but throwing Boldin in the deal makes this trade a win for you either way.
