RB2 Help **WHIR**

Postby prophecy135 » Wed Oct 24, 2012 9:21 pm

So, with the injury to Murray, and Foster on bye, Im in a bit of a bind at my RB2 position.. It's a 12 team PPR, options are:

LeShoure vs. SEA
Ballard @ TEN
Hardesty vs. SD
Tanner vs. NYG

In order to start Ballard or Tanner I would need to drop either Hardesty, Bennett, or Cutler, my QB1 is Vick which is why I'm still hanging on to Cutler...

Who would you start and why? If Ballard or Tanner, is Hardesty worth holding onto at the expense of Cutler??

Roster:
12 team PPR
QB: Vick, Cutler
RB: Foster, Murray, Ridley, LeShoure, Hardesty, Tate
WR: Ju. Jones, A.J. Green, V. Jackson, A. Brown
TE: Hernandez, Bennett

EDIT** Very few QB's available on the WW, Weeden, Sanchez, Locker, Alex Smith, Hasselbeck..

I would certainly pick up Ballard and drop hardesty. If you're starting Vick then you have to have a backup qb ready to step in. Although cutler already crapped on me a few times this season so I cut his ass, but you could do worse than cutler.

Thanks for the help! Boy...I think my vote is with LeShoure at home. If Trent wasn't playing Hardesty might be a sneaky move but according to what I see he insists that he will be out there.

I would watch for any news on weather T. Richardson is playing. If not go with Hardesty, but if he is, I think I would drop Hardesty and pick up Ballard. Maybe nobody will pick up Montario and you can switch back after this week. No sense having two backups on your team (Hardest, Tate) when you can drop one for a present starter. Good luck.

yeah, but I have a hard time taking injury news from players directly.. few reports out of Cleveland that they'll shut him down till after the bye, which is why I'm trying to figure out if he's worth keeping and dropping Bennett or Cutler if needed.

I'd go with Ballard. Seems like he can be a decent fill in, facing a weak Ten defense.

Ballard has a nice matchup and Tanner is splitting carries so I think that much seems easy. Hardesty has a tough matchup even if he does start vs. SD although I think that he has a chance for a good game. I think I'd lean towards dropping him. SD is allowing the fewest yards on the ground (fewer than Chicago even) and has allowed only 2 TDs on the ground through 6 games. TEN is allowing almost 60 yards more per game (a TD's worth in most leagues) and has given up 7 TDs in 7 games. I think Ballard for Hardesty is pretty safe. Someone may even pick up Hardesty to play and if he failboats, he'll be back on the ww going forward.

Thanks for the help with mine.
