ODD Flex question... PPR: Hernandez or Doug Martin? 100%WHIR

I am playing Gonzalez at TE, and my RBs are Sproles and Forte. So that leaves my flex as Aaron Hernandez (yes i am actively trying to trade him) or Doug Martin.

I am leaning towards Dougie because of the amount of work touches he should get in, possibility that Freeman to VJax will loosen up the Def, and he has a chance to get some goal line work after Blount's utter failure last week.

But hernandez seems so safe against a Jets squad that I don't think is that great against TEs!

What would you do?

I would probably go with Martin as well. Hernandez may go off but Martin will get more touches.

I'd probably go with Martin, as he's the safer play, and he's coming off a couple of nice performances. Good luck.

I would choose Martin as well. One of the NE TEs will always have a big game but you never know which! Hernandez seems the more likely candidate this week as he is just getting back so Jets D will probabaly key more on Gronk. But, you just can't be sure. You know Martin will get the touches.

I'd go Martin here. I typically prefer RBs in the flex as they usually get more touches than WR/TE and therefore have more potential to put up big numbers. Hernandez is certainly capable of having a decent day, but Martin has much more upside, imo.

Martin is going up agains a reeling Minny def that just have up 100+ yds to a below average RB that had a far below average line. TB has a much better line and two threats at WR. Just remember, only 1 home team has lost in third night this week, and that was The Panthers. On a short week, I think you need to keep your projections for him a bit more grounded.

Also, Hernandez is playing the RAMS not the Jets this week. Their defense is good, but you saw what Rodgers did to them last week. Add Brady and two stellar TEs, and that's a great fantasy match up.

I like Hernandez this week more than Martin, he's got a more favorable match up and not playing on a short week.
