Vick/Palmer Vernon/Heath WHIR

Two line up questions for a standard nfl.com league 1 pt/10 yds rush, 1 pt/25 yds pass, 6 pts/TD rush or pass

Is this a crazy question to ask about Vick vs ATL or Palmer @ KC? They only differ by 2 pts on the season in our league and both have only had one clunker of a fantasy game. Why does Palmer feel like a safer bet to me?

Also, what about Vernon Davis @ AZ on MNF or Heath Miller vs. WSH

Both are terribly close.

My opinion is Palmer/Vernon.

Vicks been less than stellar. I suspect a high scoring game in oak/kc. Palmer is competent, and for fantasy he's been good.

I just like Vernon because he's so athletic. I don't think any one would fault you for playing Heath though.

Hmmm....I'd actually go Vick and Heath....

Vick because he knows he can't mess this game up while you can say that might get in his head a bit, I think it will be a game that he needs to show up big

I would go w/Heath because the Redskins have let up the 2nd most fantasy pts per game to TEs, and this game should be competitive and w/out a running game really, Ben will be throwing a lot....PLUS while Vernon is a beast, chances are the 49ers are that the Cards aren't going to be real competitive in this game, leaving less opportunities for Vernon in the passing game

I agree with Doctor P. I like Vick as he has the most upside potential. True, the risk is greater, but he's much more capable of putting up big numbers than Palmer is.

I also like Heath because Ben has been going to him a lot recently and it's a great matchup vs. the Skins.

oh I didnt realize the skins give up so much to TE's.

I change my answer to Palmer/ Heath.

I still like Palmer against KC. He'll get you 17-20 points.

Vick will get 12-16. As for upside, I just don't see any with Vick. Defenses know his game, Andy Reid is about to get fired, that locker rooms a mess.

Palmer and the Oakland offense is garbage. Even with them playing the Chiefs, I dont trust the Raiders. Go with Vick and VD. Davis will bounce back this week. Plus I always like to have that Monday night game where I know I have that 1 guy who could win it for me. I think Miller is a safe play but I think Roethlisberger will get it to his wideouts more this game.

Definitely go Heath, the skins have gotten torn up all year by tight ends.

As for Vick Palmer thats a tough one. I benched Newton when they played ATL but he ended up passing well and getting a lot of rush yards. That being said, if you want to be safe go with Palmer. If you feel like taking a risk go Vick.
