C.Newton or J.Freeman (WHIR)

We start 2 QB's in my league.....I have T.Brady @STL as my #1 horse..... really dissapointed in Cam Newton (aren't we all) and snoozed on Freeman last week (played Newton) luckily it didn't cost me.

I think if Carolina gives the rock to Stewert 18-22 times per game Cam will come into form. I think Carolina is starting to realize this.

Freeman, I think* last week was a product of the terrible defense. You just don't know with this guy.

But, with the way Cam has been performing, even if Freeman doesn't go off and just gets 12-15 points... That's what Cam's probably going to do any ways.

I'd go with Newton. He has a chance to put up points both in the air and on the ground. I agree with last post that even if Cam has a bad game it will probably be similar to Freeman's but, if Cam does somehow how have a good game against the Bears than he will definitely out produce Freeman's best.

I'd go with freeman-bears D is too good-absolutely shut down megatron last week and I think the bucs will be playing from behind=more passing

We have similar problems. I'd tempted to go with Cam just for the possibility of big rushing gains on broken plays, but the fact is Carolina's time of possession is probably going to be limited due to many 3 & outs.

Honestly, I don't really care for Freeman's match up either (your Vikings have a considerable defense as well). Also, for what it's worth teams have scored 8 points less than their average totals on these Thursday night games.

So basically I'm not much help. I'd go with Freeman just because I think he'll get more possessions, but it's pretty close.

Sorry, I'm too late to have response. Just checked my fantasy stuff this morning.

But I would have gone with Freeman. I wouldn't trust Cam against that Bears defense.
