Ridley/Martin/Roddy?? Flex help!!! WHIR

Postby RedBirdChica » Thu Oct 25, 2012 5:22 pm

Standard scoring league. Have to make the decision today because of beautiful Thursday Night Football. Thanks, WHIR!

Ridley seems risky to me - but is this the week he busts out of the doghouse? and the Rams have been pretty good against the run as of late.
Martin goes up against a known stellar rush D ... but they let Arizona's less than sub-par Oline push LSH over 100 yards.
Roddy is up and down in his scoring - but may be a safer bet than a RB with Bilichick as a coach or a TB offense that seems to change personalities every few weeks?

My decision on the lineup
QB: Peyton Manning @ NO
RB: Alfred Morris @ Pit
RB: Darren McFadden (ugh) @ KC
Flex: Doug Martin @ Min
WR: Marques Colston @ Den
WR: Reggie Wayne @ Tenn
TE: Heath Miller @ Was
D/ST: Packers @ Jac
K: Bryant @ Phi

BE Arian Foster BYE
BE Steven Ridley @ StL
BE Roddy White @ Phi
BE Andrew Luck
BE Mikel Leshoure
BE Donald Brown
BE Larod-Stephens Howling

I would go with Roddy based on his match-up.

I would first rule out Ridley, because I think he's the lowest of the 3 based on opportunity and opponent. Then I'd honestly have to go with Roddy here; I think he's too good to not start. I'm starting Martin in a few leagues because he's the best option, but if you have a choice like you do; I'd personally go with Roddy and Colston/Wayne (who all seem to be top 10-12 plays this week). Martin could have a nice game; but I'd roll with Roddy and his consistency.

Hope this helps, help if you can: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=527593

Roddy-he is a bona-fide WR1. Martin is a solid play this week but risky and Ridley is verrrry risky

Care to offer some advice on my Doug Martin related question?
