Keeper League: Brady, K. Wright for Leshoure, D. Moore WHIR

I feel like this trade helps my team but I also feel like I may be a bit insane. Need some of you good bros. to help me out here. Glad to help in return.

First year of a 12 team Keeper league with $250 auction draft budget, less keeper costs.

.5 PPR, 6 pt. passing TDs, everything else standard.

Currently tied for 1st place at 4-3 with 6 other teams.

You can keep up to 3 players basically at the amount they were drafted at or acquired on waivers for plus 1 dollar or 2 for every year they've been in the league.

Also, if acquired by trade, you can keep them at the price the other person acquired them at, plus the dollar or 2 for every year they've been in the league.

Current Roster is:

QB: Brady ($60), RG3 ($18), Weeden ($2)
RBs: Forte ($46), Spiller ($12), V. Ballard ($3), D. Woodhead ($1)
WRs: Harvin ($24), Garcon ($18), D. Hey-Bey ($6), K. Wright ($4), A. Hawkins ($3)
TE: Witten ($6), H. Miller ($4)
Def: MIN ($3), NYJ ($1)
K: B. Walsh ($1)

I.R.: R. Williams ($7), S. Holmes ($5)

So with Garcon looking like he will miss the rest of the season potentially and the other injuries, I'm pretty thin at RB and WR.

I feel like Leshoure and D. Moore can help me this year and one could also be a keeper next year. I am planning on keeping RG3 and Spiller at this point so I will have one more keeper to decide on.

Am I crazy for considering this deal?

Personally, I wouldn't. Brady is always putting up big numbers. Then again, Wright hasn't been doing much. I'd still hang onto him. Could have a breakout game sometime soon.

My post was so long you may have missed this: I have RG3 who will be a keeper and can only start 1 QB.

Does this change things?

I wouldn't do it. You should get some present-day value for brady if you're going to trade him.

Moore is 1 of 3-4 WRs on OAK with McFadden being the bellcow and Palmer throwing.
Leshoure is good, but on a pass-first team with Best, Smith and Bell all waiting in the wings next year.

If you're going to trade Brady and make another team better, then you either need to get some young studs in the makings or some bad ass players now.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Thanks for the help! Keeper leagues are not really my game but ill give it a shot.

Its tough to go away from Brady, dude is solid and top 5 every year. RG3 is a monster but dont you think its still too early to tell if he will last a whole season? talk about a huge gamble...i thought he died during the game against the Falcon. Will he remember that and play it safe? Maybe or maybe not...Now Brady, aside from one season he has always been healthy and if youre going to trade him you def can get more value from him. Det has so many RBs in line who says that Best wont get his job back next year? Competition is too deep for you to take the gamble and if youre going to get rid of Brady you should at least get someone that you could consider keeping because brady is a no brainer keep unless you have Drew Brees, Rodgers or you want to take a gamble on a star rookie that can become the next fantasy sensation. D moore? I dont have much to stay about him except, bad team, bad QB and they have McFadden...I think youre actually giving away a better WR in K Wright...i wouldnt do it...Get more value!!!

Thanks. I was leaning towards doing this but now I'm not quite sure I'm getting enough.

I guess what I am having a hard time with is the keeper price for Leshoure is only $2. And I have RG3 for $18 and Spiller for $12. Those would be some nice keepers plus I can use the help at RB this year. And D. Moore is no slouch either with some pretty nice upside.

D moore has the big game capability but so does *insert name here*, OAK is just tough to trust because of that shaky offense line...i think you could trade Brady but really try to get more at least closer to what he is worth at least for this year. I just dont think Leshoure is it and youre def losing at the WR trade too.
