TRADE: Ballard/Maclin for BJGE/Welker

Postby deltaboy » Thu Oct 25, 2012 8:46 pm

send: Donald Brown, Ballard, Maclin
receive: Law Firm, Welker

Do I sign this deal? It will put me into bye week trouble as Brown (Ballard) + Maclin serve as my flex replacements. Not too confident with BJGE.

is Welker a big upgrade over Maclin? I'm also considering this as I want to make room on my bench. Here is my team:

Eli
McCoy, Lynch, Brown/Ballard, DeAngelo, LSH
Marshall, Wayne, Maclin
Graham, Celek
SeaBass
Arizona

Yeah I think Welker is a substantial upgrade to Maclin (just look at who is responsible for giving them the ball) and I like BJGE's upside more than the Indy guys...do it

Owner does not want to downgrade Welker. What about Brown/Ballard for BJGE straight up?

I think I would take BJGE, but it's way close. If your motivation is to free up a roster spot then this is a good way to do that. BJGE has struggled a little lately, but he is usually a solid producer. I own him in 2 league so I may be partial, but I'm not looking to sell him. I look for him to bounce back. Good luck!
