which WRs this week? WHIR

Postby TheBeaker » Fri Oct 26, 2012 10:30 am

Well apparently Vincent Jackson wasnt a great choice this week but never the less im stuck with his 4 points now. Standard scoring league.

I get 2 RB spots, 2 WR spots (one is taken up by Jackson) and one flex WR/RB spot.

So with that in mind do i start all my RBs available and choose between WRs?

Lesean Mccoy/Bradshaw/Mathews?

Jackson/ Either Welker or Roddy White?

Or do i put both Welker and White in and take out a RB?

McCoy / Bradshaw / White all must be in your line up.

Between Matthews and Welker, its kind of a crap chute. I'd go with Welker, but wouldn't fault you for going with Matthews.

In that case, i just look at it as cleveland is below league average against RBs and St Louis is above league average against WRs... but that never stops it from the opposite happening the week i choose to follow that research lol.

I agree with this, and favor Welker over Matthews. Welker has much more upside, especially since Hernandez won't play this week.

Help with mine?

yeah im so torn between mathews and welker.

Hernandez out = +1 Welker
Welker listed as questionable = -2 Welker
Cleveland givingup 18 points a game against RB's = +1 Mathews
Rams giving up 20 points against WR's = +1 Welker
Mathews being the go to guy while the pats have a bunch of options = + 1 Mathews.

Bah

Welker being listed as questionable means nothing.

Belicheck just does this constantly for some reason. Every player except Brady is listed as questionable at least 4 games per season on the Pats.

Okay, so McCoy and Roddy White MUST be in your lineup always, unless they're on a bye-week. Now, you're stuck with Vincent Jackson, which gives you 2 spots with 3 choices: Mathews, Welker, Bradshaw.

I'm actually gonna suggest you go with Mathews and Welker, not Bradshaw. He's questionable for the Cowboys, and Giants running game is pitiful. To quote the Dothraki, "It is known."

Yep I'd start Mathews and Welker and sit Bradshaw.

The Giants run game maybe bad, but the Cowboys just lost Sean Lee. They allow 2.0 YPC to RB's with Sean Lee, 5.0 without Sean Lee.

The Cowboys secondary on the other hand, is #1 or at very least top 5. The Giants will run the ball all day vs the cowboys. The only issue is will Andre Brown steal a goal line carry.
