Do any of you guys think that Lee Suggs will get starting job form the Browns next year? I didn't really see him much in college so I don't really have an idea of what him potential is. I am in a keeper league that lets me keep an unplayed rookie without having to count him as one of my regular keepers. I haven't got a rookie on my roster so I would like to find one. Thanks for you thoughts

it may not be a bad idea...from what i've heard, Green is very very close to being in the shiat-house next season, if he cannot get his act together. One of the RBs (JJ or JW) will likely be gone next season. The main reason Suggs was drafted was to be a change of pace back for Green. i'm toying with the idea of keeping Suggs as well. the backfield is muddy in cleveland, so i'm not to certain as to what you could expect...one thing is for certain though, Cleveland hasn't been discussing Green too much, and Policy's only comment didn't sound too promising for young Green.

Suggs is a phenomenal goalline runner (holds the NCAA record for consecutive games with a TD) with great speed. He could certainly be a quality all-around RB if given the opportunity. I wouldn't bet the farm on him but if you have the room to hold on to him just in case it wouldn't be the worst gamble out there.

I would venture to say that J.White and J.Jackson will both be gone by next season. I don't think it's such a bad idea to hold onto Suggs.

If he gets the oppurtunity, I think he will be very good. I think he's the second best RB on that team behind White.

Lee Suggs and myself graduated the same year from Virginia Tech. He is a proven stud. Lee Suggs and Kevin Jones together were nick named the 'untouchables' in college football. Yes, it was RBBC at Virginia Tech in 2002. Both played awesome.

I am not sure if he will come to top in Clevland, but one thing for sure- if he somehow manges to be the featured back, he wont disappoint.

My guess is it will be rbbc in Cleveland next year with either Green and/or White getting more carries than Suggs. I think they will have to get injured before Suggs will get a proper chance to show his abilities as a featured RB.
That's my two cents and it's worth every penny of it!
