Advice please...drop Mike Williams?

Postby runrun » Fri Oct 26, 2012 2:33 pm

Ok, so I made a major mistake last night and forgot Tampa was playing. I planned on starting M Williams and of course he had a good night.

So my problem is that I have the Texans on a bye and need a defense for the week as it's a tight matchup. I also have Greg Jennings and Amendola who are injured and taking up space on my bench.

My other WR's are Fitz, Gordon, M Williams and Kerley.

I had planned to drop Kerley and pick up Miami on def for the week but with my mistake not starting Williams and Jennings out I'll need to start Kerley.

So my only option is to consider dropping Williams and picking up Miami then maybe try and get him back on waivers next week.

Thoughts? Normally I'd just risk it and play without a defense but our league is super tight and a wil will be really important with 7 teams at either 4-3 or 3-4.

Is it worth risking losing Williams to snag a defense for a week? Please let me know your thoughts!

I'd drop the Texans and snag a defense. Your chances of getting the Texans back is greater than your landing Williams back. Even if someone snags the Texans ahead of you, you can most likely snag another good defense and play the matchup.
