Calvin Johnson for Adrian Peterson Overpaying? WHIR

Postby munstermann » Fri Oct 26, 2012 3:57 pm

Thinking of offer CJ for Peterson.

The guy is RB heavy and WR light..

I have CJ, Wayne, Decker, Hartline, as WR's... Leshoure and t-Rich for RB's.

start 2 rb's, 2 wr's and a flex. Thoughts? Leave a link

Well you certainly need the help at running back. I might start off offering Reggie wayne and see if he bites. If he is hurting badly for a receiver it might work. If not, cj for Peterson might be what you need to do.

I don't think it's overpaying. It's trading a WR1 for a RB1. I will always lean towards the RB1 because of the sheer probability of their having more chances to break a big play. If the guy is really thin at WR, you may want to think about a Decker/Hartline bundle or something, since it's usually MUCH easier to get a WR off the waiver wire than it is a RB

Yes do it but if I were him I'd decline the offer. CJ's got only 1 TD this year and seeing how Stafford is playing it may not get much better IMO. But yeah try for sure
