Currently in second place in my league that uses a flex spot that I am hoping to land an upper tier QB to slot into. Have the opportunity to pick up Cam Newton for Marshawn Lynch and Andre Roberts. I know Newton has struggled somewhat this year but he still seems to have great potential for big points in that spot. Thoughts?
Current Roster
QB - Drew Brees
WR - Hakeem Nicks
WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Miles Austin
RB - Lesean McCoy
RB - Marshawn Lynch
TE - Rob Gronkowski
QB/WR/RB - Carson Palmer
K - Matt Bryant
D - Chicago Bears
Bench - CJ Spiller, Rashard Mendenhall, Donald Brown, Jonathan Stewart, Andre Roberts, Jermaine Gresham

Don't do that trade.

You can't afford the loss of Lynch in your RB depth to attempt to upgrade your flex spot. Cam may rebound, but your starting RB lineup will not until Mendenhall, Brown and Spiller become starters in their respective NFL clubs.
