Let's Pretend for moment...

Postby JrcWy » Fri Dec 12, 2003 2:42 pm

There hasn't been news much news on Clarrett in awhile, just some chatter this week that the judge hopes to make a decision by February 1st. Here's where we pretend...

I think it is unlikely Clarrett will be allowed in the draft this year, BUT if he does. Where do you see him being drafted? Does he have any chance of being a top 3 pick even after sitting out a year?

*puts on pretend GM hat*

A 19 year old kid who couldn't stay healthy over the course of a 12 game season....

I think anyone mentioning him 1st round much less top 10 is being just a tad bit generous. I hope he goes to whatever team plays the Ravens week 1 next year. Let him take some shots from Ray Ray.

I agree. There are a lot of backs coming into the draft this year, who would be much safer bets than Clarrett

I don't see him going in the 1st round either. But you never know with some of these GM's.
Stewie: [hitting on some co-eds] I must say, the most recent campus sporting event was quite spectacular.
Co-ed: Aw. Are you in a fraternity, little boy?
Stewie: Not yet, but I'm thinking of joining I Felta Thigh.

Clarett may be stashed away a la the Bills and McGahee in the latter end of the first round...still very unlikely

Early 2nd round is as high as he would go...this ain't the NBA.

Played one year, has been sitting a year, and was hurt alot.....not a great formula for a first rounder.

I'd rather have perry, jones and barber than Clarrett. I see him 2nd-3rd round.
