Arian Foster trade WHIR!

Thoughts about this trade? WHIR

I give: Reggie Bush, Alfred Morris, DeSean Jackson, Randall Cobb
I get: Arian Foster, Denarius Moore, Andre Roberts

I'd rather get Miles Austin instead of Moore, especially if I'm giving up Cobb.
I may counter with that, but would take this deal if people think it's good.

Countering wouldnt be a bad idea as it would be a better trade with austin but you are giving up depth for the best player in the trade, that could pay dividends come the playoffs for sure.

I would take either trade. The trade you propose as a counter offer is maybe a bit better but I don't think the difference between Austin and Moore is huge. You lose a little WR depth but you're still pretty solid after AJ Green and Foster, Forte, and Gore is pretty formidable.

Give him Bowe instead of Cobb, other than that the trade looks good. You have 4 stud RBs so might as well trade 2 and get the best guy in the league

My concern is whether I am giving up a guy in Cobb who is going to continue to be hot for the rest of the season.
But since I'm getting Foster, I don't think it's that important.
Do you view this trade as an upgrade or downgrade for my WRs?

I offered Bush, Morris, Jackson, Bowe for Foster, Austin, Roberts and he countered with this.

I could counter with jackson/bowe for moore/roberts or jackson/cobb for austin/roberts. Which is better?

Austin has been very consistent. I imagine you will have a hard time getting him along with Foster. It doesn't hurt to try though. I would definitely go for that if I were you.

What about if you trade him Gore?? I worry about Gore holding up for the rest of the season but i think his value is high right now. Would he do Gore/Reggie/DeSean for Foster and Miles?? Or forget the WR aspect and just do 2 of your RBs for Foster

That's interesting....I love the way Gore is running though, he seems to get 5 yards on almost every carry.
But I agree with you about health concerns.
Would my team be just as good if I pulled off the trade you suggested?
I would keep more WR depth and gamble on Alfred Morris, but he does look good.

If you do that trade you have Foster/Forte/Morris/AJ/Bowe/Miles/Cobb and you need to start 5 of those 7; your only problem is going to be figuring out who to sit. My only problem with essentially trading 2 good RBs for a stud RB is that it leaves you vulnerable if an injury occurs. Your 2 highest injury risks in my opinion are Gore and Bush so i would be looking to deal those 2 and keeping the more healthy and reliable backs.

You make a bunch of good points.
The risk of injury does worry me, but that exists in any of these trades. Your suggestion might actually alleviate that risk a bit, at least in my WRs.
I'm nervous about trading Gore though because I'm 7-1 and in 1st in record and points, and I don't want to screw up my team haha.
