Just lost Sproles...please help at RB...WHIR

12-team PPR we start 2 RB, 2 WR, and a Flex

Lost Sproles so now I need to replace him.

My RB: McCoy, Sproles, Alex Green
My WR: Harvin, Julio, Decker, Cobb, Bowe

These are my trade options:

A) Eric Decker for Ahmad Bradshaw - week 11 bye and injury concerns (dudes always hurt)

B) Eric Decker AND Dwayne Bowe for Ryan Mathews - Mathews role is uncertain. losing 3rd down and GL work

C) Dwayne Bowe for Steven Jackson - S-Jax is losing carries to the rook and his schedule is brutal

D) Dwayne Bowe for Shonn Greene - not a great RB but at least he gets volume

* I may be able to get Mathews for just Decker but he just got outpointed by Ronnie Brown in PPR on Thursday


I'd rather trade Bowe since he would never sniff my lineup but I'm afraid S-Jax or Shonn Green won't produce great/consistent numbers

I can sympathize with you cause I'm a Sproles owner also, only thing is I don't have a viable 2nd guy cause I'm in a 14-Team league.

Anyway Steven Jackson's on his way out in STL and Decker vs Bowe is pretty comparable. Bowe for S-Jax is just not a good deal for you because Jackson's ceiling is like 15 pts. At least with Bradshaw you know he has the capability of putting up big numbers, albeit inconsistent.

A lot has to do with whether you started Bowe last night (which I'm assuming you didn't) because then you only have Harvin, Julio, and Cobb that must be your starters (if you deal Decker). I think you have the depth to do it and those 3 wouldn't be too shabby of a starting lineup this week.

I know Bowe is hard to rely on cause the KC offense is horrendous but they are most likely gonna trail in every game, he's gonna get targets and on top of that he's still the #1 and he's young.

Because of that the difference between the players is like this:

Decker>>>Bowe
Bradshaw>>>>>>>>>>>S-Jax

You get the point, I would do Decker for Bradshaw.

Sproles owner as well so i sort of feel your pain, although he was my RB4 behind McCoy/TRich/R Bush. Like the guy above me said you have 5 solid WR so giving up Decker isnt going to hurt you that much. Im not in love with either of the RBs that you are getting back but i woould agree that Bradshaw is a HUGE bump over Jackson. You still are starting Julio and Percy every week so that leaves you with Bowe and Cobb to rotate based on matchups, no need to have 5 top 20 WR. I may even try and do a second trade and try and sell Cobb high and get a third reliable RB

Ryan Mathews usage is frustrating but his talent is much greater than Bradshaw and he is (currently) healthier

Im a believer in Matthews but i think his value is lower than what you are giving up to get him, i would as if he would give you a WR3 back as well just in case something happens to your receivers because you would be losing all of your depth. Also this doesnt help you for this week since Matthews obviously played last night

100% this you need a wr in return for that one if Harvin or Cobb go down you are in the you know what Creek and no paddle

I would not trade Decker at all if I were you. You should be able to get a slightly lesser back at not as steep of a price.
