Thanks in advance for the help. I'm at the bottom of my league at 3-5, but I'm really starting to come on strong. With all the depth I have, I thought it would be a good idea to entertain some trades.
I get RGIII, Stevie Johnson, Mikel LeShoure. I give M Vick, A. Morris, D. Moore.
Standard Scoring. 2rb, 2wr, 1 flex
My Team:
M Vick R. Fitzpatrick
Doug Martin Alfred Morris D McFadden BJGE Chris Johnson
A Gates K. Rudolph
Larry Fitz Andre Johnson Denarius Moore Kenny Britt Josh Gordon
I like that trade for you. The WR's cancel out because they are bench depth, and the upgrade at QB offsets the decline in RB value in return (unless Leshoure becomes the true RB everyone invisioned when he was drafted). You have depth all around at all positions to make this trade work.
I would do it, depending on how the point system is in your league. But if it's like most leagues, that favor QBs, I would do it. It's hard to win with lower tier, inconsistent QBs.
I would SO do this trade. With RGIII your strong team becomes unbeatable. You have room to give away what's being asked. You're getting a cream-of-the-crop QB for players who are NOT tops on your own squad. That's a win-win!
- broseph Standard Format: Aaron Rodgers, Josh Freeman; Doug Martin, Jamaal Charles, Maurice Jones-Drew, Vick Ballard, Pierre Thomas; AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Stevie Johnson; Jason Witten, Vernon Davis; Stephen Gostkowski; Chicago
I would stick with the original deal. S.Johnson is a better value WR than S.Rice right now and you would be better off holding on to Martin over Morris regardless of their offensive line issue.
