Is trading for Rice worth this risk? WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 10:04 am

12 team PPR, all td's = 6. Start 2 RB, 3 WR, no flex. My roster:

QB - Stafford, Romo
RB - McCoy, Sproles, Leshoure
WR - Harvin, Wayne, Cobb, Bryant, Amendola
TE - Witten
DST - Miami (streaming)
K - Hanson

Sproles' injury has me thinking, and the Ray Rice owner is hurting at WR. I have offered Wayne + Leshoure for RIce (he needs a RB to make the deal work). If I make this deal I have zero RB depth - but to get McCoy and Rice together, this has to be worth that risk, right? WHIR, thanks!

I've said it before, I'll say it again: almost any deal that can be made for Ray Rice is well worth it. He is a game-changer the likes of which we see so rarely. He can win you a week pretty much by himself. Plus you have McCoy? You're pretty much past bye troubles; I say go for it hands-down.

a little help?

It's worth the risk and a good deal for you. Doubt the other owner goes for it but its worth a shot nonetheless. ;-D
