Leshoure + Hartline for DMC? WHIR

Postby munstermann » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:54 pm

So I'm hurting at RB...
Thinking about offering Leshoure + Hartline for DMC... I'm playing against the individual who has DMC this week. This would mean he is basically also trading for a win, as I will have no solid RB game to bring to the table. Here is my thought process. DMC is a high injury risk, he is presently injured, and he has been performing poorly of late. However, the Raiders have the best schedule of any team down the stretch, and there is talk in Oakland of them switching to Power blocking offensive scheme again, which is gravy for DMC. I think McFadden is at his lowest value yet right now, is Leshoure + Hartline for him overpaying? Underpaying? Opinions?

My roster is below:

:-:12 Team ESPN PPR Keeper League w/ IDP's:-:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: Leshoure
RB/WR: Decker
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Calvin Johnson
TE: Jimmy Graham
DEF: Steelers
K: Hanson
LB: Patrick Willis

Bench:
QB: Fitzpatrick
RB: Andre Brown
RB: James Starks
WR: Brian Hartline
TE: Heath Miller
LB: Daryll Washington

Under different circumstance id say yes but DMC's ankle is being held together by twine.

You wouldn't be giving up too much, but you also would be taking on a huge risk/reward player. If you hear positive things about his ankle, I say pull the trigger. They are reporting that it is a high ankle sprain but not a bad one. let's hope that means he can put up numbers like he did last year.

here is a thought. what place are you in your league and whats your record? if you need to do something drastic to try and make it then the risk is worth the reward.

Personally, id do it. DMCs playoff schedule is nice where leshoure's isnt. And who knows Oakland might try for a late push to get in again...
