Return to Draft, Trade, & Waiver Questions

Ok, so I'm a commissioner in a 14 team ppr league. I recently made a trade that has got people stirring and is close to being vetoed. I traded away Tony Romo and B. Myers for Eli Manning and Kerly. The other team really needs a te and I already have Gronk so could make this trade and this being a 14 team PPR league it is really hard to find good te's.
I've been arguing with some people and have heard several dumb reasons why this is a bad trade. 1) the trade makes my team too good
2) Eli is way better then Romo enough though both have only two games about 20 points and Eli only has 4 more points then Romo and Eli hasn't even had a bye yet.
3) someone else told me to veto it
Can someone please explain how this is a veto worthy trade? I understand that Eli has more upside then Romo, but Eli has been playing awful right now and is on the buy low. And the fact that he is still getting a good qb and a big upgrade at te. But their reasons in my opinion that should ever decline a trade from happening!

That trade is not even close to considered being vetoed. Looks fine to me

Yeah I don't see why that would be veto worthy.

Trades shouldn't be vetoed because they make a team too good. Especially an even trade like this.

I know, that's what I have been trying to tell them. Trades should only be vetoed if they heavily favor one side. Every owner has the right to manage their own team however they choose as long as they believe it is in their best interest. Just a few weeks ago I allowed a trade that was way worse then this to pass. A team traded away Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Thomas and Djax for Stafford,D. Will and Miles Austin. I think the jump from Rodgers and Stafford are way bigger then Eli to Romo, but I allowed it and didn't say anything because I knew that the team trading Rodgers really needed a rb bad so I let him manage his own team knowing he probably could have done a lot better.

This is fine, both QBs are good, Eli and Romo are definitely on the same tier, and very close, and if the other team needs a TE, I don't see how it's even close to be vetoable..

You get the better deal, but this is no where near veto material.
