Handcuffing McGahee? WHIR

Postby Lobsterback » Wed Nov 07, 2012 8:49 pm

I'm debating handcuffing McGahee with Hillman to ensure that my team has 3 starting RBs going into playoffs. Trouble is I can't decide if I should drop a WR. I have Maclin, Floyd, and T.Young all riding the pine but I'm not ready to give up on any of them.
Maclin's offense is falling to pieces, Rivers hasn't looked great, and Titus is probably too inconsistent to ever start over my other WRs. Do I wait another week to see? I also have both NYG and Patriots D/ST: Giants are great but face a tough schedule ROS, while Pats generate turnovers and have a much easier schedule. WHIR, team in sig.

Thanks for the help. You got the people I have backwards but either way I got an answer.

I would decide which D I wanted to roll with and drop that to make the move. I agree looking at your roster you need to be safe and have the 3rd option. And finally for the record I've picked up the NE D in 3 leagues now based on schedule.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply.

I dont see why you dont drop hunter? Not seeing the rationale there.

I've held into him from the early season in the hopes that Gore wears down as the season ends. The 49ers Oline looks terrific, and I see Hunter as having a ton of upside as a handcuff. I suppose that dropping him would be the best option, but I can't bring myself to do it especially after trading away Gore midseason for Wayne. I want to drop Floyd, but I think I'll give it another week and pray that Willis doesn't go down.

thanks for your help with mine. by the way, i have cam too, so i wouldn't necessarily be stuck with starting vick. does that change your opinion?

anyway, i would drop either hunter or young if you feel the need for the handcuff. good luck!
