My year is done at 2-7 (snakebit this year). I have already traded some folks and have extra draft picks for next year's draft (extra 2, 4, 5 round picks). This is a keeper league and I have Luck, Trent Richardson, and Brandon Marshall left for keeper selection next year. I have a trade offer involving Richardson for a 3rd round pick next year. That would give me a massive advantage in next year's draft (if I don't screw it up). Today is the last day for trades.
I havent done a keeper league myself yet so i cant contribute too much but i can bump this for you
if it makes a difference i probably wouldnt do it but what do i know
My Main League 10 Team Standard Score League: QB: Roethlisberger, Freeman RB: R Rice, L McCoy, R Mathews, A Bradshaw, D Sproles, B Brown WR: R White, V Jackson, W Welker, S Smith TE: J Graham, K: S Gostkowski DEF: Seattle (this week)

My thoughts exactly, keeper leagues have such variation in their rules that its hard to say. If you get to keep any 3 guys, regardless of draft position, then a 3rd round pick isnt all that valuable. At that point a 3rd round pick is essentially a 6th round pick, which is a huge difference. Plus it also depends on who else you would keep instead of TRich, do you have another good Keeper??
Seems like to me you're implying that every team gets 3 keepers. If that's the case (or even if it isn't, to be honest), I wouldn't be dealing Richardson for a 3. He's probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder next year...don't see how you get better value than him in the third round.
