Is this trade Vetoable?

Postby Shatner8 » Thu Nov 08, 2012 12:18 pm

Hey Guys,

There was a trade that went down in my league which has caused some questioning. I don't think its worthy of vetoing but there are some others on the fence. Here is the trade

Team A Gives:

Andrew Luck
Matt Forte
Alfred Morris
Percy Harvin
Malcolm Floyd

Team B Gives

Aaron Rodgers
Ryan Matthews
Demarco Murray
Felix Jones
Kenny Britt

It is a standard scoring league so no ppr

How are the records for each of these teams??? Is it a keeper league??? Definitely an extremely lopsided trade, although if someone isnt sold on the rookies Luck and Morris and is worried about Harvin's injury i can see it not being collusion. Still team A is getting an upgrade at QB at the cost of 2 top 10 RBs and a top 3 WR, in return for 2 RB2s (one of them injured) and some speculative guys.

No, unless it is obvious collusion or someone is clearly getting taken advantage of then there should never be a veto. Ever.

If someone wants to make a bad trade because they dont think it is a bad trade then that is their problem.

Right, which is why i asked the questions about the records and keeper league. If its not a keeper league and Team A has a horrible record and Team B is making a playoff push then i would say it sounds like collusion.

Yes some circumstances might play a role in this but sometimes people are just noobs lol. If you go to http://www.fantasyfootballnerd.com/trades and punch in that trade it says the trade is even the rest of this season in a standard scoring league.... maybe the guy who you feel is losing this trade uses that as his methods on whether a trade is good or not...

Basically its hard to prove real collusion.
