Which RBs to start (WHIR)

Postby zjk924 » Sat Nov 10, 2012 1:27 pm

Hey all,

In a 12-team nonPPR league- 10 yards rec/rushing = 1 point, TD = 6 points, fumble = -2 points.

Runnings backs I've got: CJ Spiller; Mikel LeShoure; Felix Jones; Marcel Reece; Fred Jackson. I need 3 of them. Ideas? I feel like Spiller and LeShoure are the obvious ones, but I can't decide who to go for my flex position. I'm leaning towards Marcel Reece. Thoughts?

I would go with jones, if he is the starter. He should at leat have a decent games against a suspect Philly d against the run.

Otherwise, handcuff Jackson to spiller - Reece is too risky (I am a run-DMC owner). T. Jones will get most of the carries

I agree with the above poster. Jones is the best bet to get touches, and with the way that the Saints' committee rushed against them last week, Philly's run defense is showing some holes. Reece might have a strong day with all indications pointing to the Raiders going pass-heavy, but starting him would be a huge risk.

My question for you:

Jones here as well. Jackson is up against NE who has a damn good running defense this year, and Reece is too risky.

Spiller, Leshoure for sure. Felix and Fred are too close to call... Toss-up, but I'll say Jackson. Reece gets docked in a non-PPR format.

Thanks for the help with mine.

It's close between Jackson and Jones, but I'd go Jones as well. He has the better matchup and this is probably his last week to show what he can do with the starting role.
QB-Brady, Luck
RB-Bradshaw, Charles, CJ2K, Reece
WR-Julio, M. Wallace, Johnson-BUF, Alexander, Wayne
TE-Olsen, Witten

I'd say f. Jones as well, Reece could have a huge game or a goose egg. Jones is your best option here, he hasn't performed well thus far but he has the best match up this week.
