Charles vs Floyd - WHIR

I'm screwed at WR and flex this week
Fitz, Harvin, Nelson and Murray are all out or on bye

So pretty much have no choice but to start Nicks and Bowe - even though they both aren't really good options this week.

For flex i have to decide between Charles and Floyd.
Currently going for Floyd actually, since he has a nice matchup and Charles has sucked lately + is up against a stingy defense.

Who'd you start? WHIR

Floyd definitely the more solid of choices.... Charles too much of a risk

I'd typically go with Charles, but KC is looking awful lately - +1 for Floyd

I'll be the contrarian and say Charles. Too talented of a guy to bench, particularly when you bench him for a guy who's value depends solely on Philip Rivers. I'm not saying that this'll be the day that the Chiefs finally give Charles the touches he deserves, but if it is, you don't want Charles on your bench. Slightly lower floor (and you could argue that it's equal to Floyd's), but much higher ceiling.

Yeah, Delhomme17, that was my thought too.

Chiefs made some changes to their training staff, so who knows if they also finally decided to make a game plan involving Charles some more.

Say i go with Charles - would you start Floyd over Bowe or Nicks then?

Nope, I'd roll with Nicks. Injury prone, sure, but a legit top 15 or even top 10 talent when he's out there.

And start Bowe too for the points in garbage time?

Yep, that's what I'd do. The Rivers-Floyd connection just doesn't seem to be there yet. You know Bowe will get tons of targets, and you brought up the very real possibility of significant garbage time numbers.
