4-6 team

Postby ricotastic » Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:11 am

It's my first season of Fantasy Football, and I participated in a few drafts way too early (early/mid august) and being a rookie I made many mistakes but I've been trying to sort those out. Right now I'm 4-6 with the team below. I'm in a standard league on NFLs website but I'm not entirely sure I'll be strong enough to reach the playoffs. Positions 2-5 are all 6-4 teams so its a pretty close league. Anyway all the help I can get would be appriciated.

QB; Drew Brees
RB; Mikel Leshoure, Alfred Morris, Donald Brown, BenJarvus Green-Ellis
WR; Lance Moore, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Hakeem Nicks, Sidney Rice
TE; Aaron Hernandez, Heath Miller
K; Greg Zuerlein
Def; Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks

Your RB situation is hindering your chance at a spot in your league's playoffs. You have a decent mix of talent at WR but between both RB and WR you don't really or has yet to really stand out as a no-brainer must start under any circumstance player. I like Cobb and Nelson very much, especially in GB's pass-heavy offense. Randall Cobb has really come on strong just after the halfway mark.

Depending on your scoring format, Brees is probably the foundation of your team. You need Hernandez to get back to form as either TE could possibly be traded in a package deal that could improve your running game. If this isn't a keeper league, there is no point in rebuilding for next year.
