Trade help - McGahee for Cobb

Postby spookycat21 » Wed Nov 14, 2012 12:15 pm

I was offered Willis McGahee for Randall Cobb should I accept or reject?
It's standard scoring, but it's a dynasty league, so I'm wondering should I reject as cobb is younger. I also have Nelson on my team.
I lost both McFadden and MJD to injuries, so am relying on Turner and Ballard at RB till they come back.

If you have depth at WR, I would do this. Jennings will be back soon so it will cut into Cobbs production some.

I would not do that trade as is. Cobb is going to be a top wideout in the years ahead in GB with Jennings probably not renewing his contract and going elsewhere. McGahee is much older and will start to decline soon enough. You don't need the extra baggage. Especially in a dynasty league.

If you have to then i would but if you can get by (like i am with murry and dmc) then sit tight but if you need the help to make the playoffs id consider it more. Mcgahee is also losing touches to hillman which may limit mcgahees upside
My team:
Rodgers
Wallace, A. Johnson, D. Moore, D. Alexander
Morris, Reece, DMC, Murray, Wells, B. Brown, Hillman
Gates
Bryant

Thanks for your help on mine. It's a tough decision imo because you're definitely hurting at RB. Neither of them (MJD DMC) are going to play this week, and possibly weeks to come. If you're in the playoff hunt I don't think turner and ballard are going to cut it. It being a dynasty league throws a wrench in it thats for sure. I'm not a huge mcgahee fan ROS so if u think u can hold out I wouldn't do the deal but if ur making a playoff push i'd think long and hard.

I wouldnt do this deal unless like someone else said do you have wr depth. How long do you think mcgahee will last? Also like someone else said jennings might be gone no way gb gives him the long contract for big $$$.
