I have him as my lone TE (team in sig) and am 5-5 in a fight for a playoff spot. Should I start him or look to claw and beg through a trade for a lower tier TE? I love his upside but can't afford to give up points. Currently I have an option to pick up Celek for cheap.

IMO, I think Davis or Celek should have more upside now that both Vick and Smith are injured. You will have backup QB's who will check down more to their TE's.
