Giving this to get Gronk. Good move right? WHIR 100%

Postby woowoo crew » Wed Nov 14, 2012 3:14 pm

High scoring league: 1ppr; 1 pt. per 10 yds. pass, rush, receiving; .5 per rush attempt; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 yds. returning

Was offered Gronk and Hilman for Leshoure, Fred Jackson, and Vernon Davis. Of course I accepted. Anyone see a downside to this deal?

While I have some RB injuries, losing Leshoure could impact me negatively in the next 2 weeks. But if Sproles comes back in week 13, I won't play Leshoure, as long as my other RBs stay healthy. I have guaranteed a playoff spot, so I'm looking to improve my team for playoffs which start in week 14 for us.

Leave a link!
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds.
QB: Stafford, Newton
RB: Spiller, Sproles
WR: VJax, Cobb
TE: Myers
W/R: Ridley
Bench: McCoy, Mathews, Bryce Brown, Kaepernick, B. Powell, Gronkowski

If you survive next 2 weeks and sproles comes back which he could return sooner. You should be good. If it is extended,m you better hope for a Macghee injury

Since you alraady have a playoff spot locked up I think this is a great trade for you, you are a little thinner overall, but thats the atitude to have, go big or go home for the playoffs. I like it

Help me out?

I agree. Given that you already have a playoff spot locked up, this is a smart move. Thanks for the help with mine!

I am assuming that your team in your sig is the team you got Gronk in. If so, yes that was a HUGE trade for you, and I'm a niners fan. :-) Your deep at RB, so that wasn't an issue and Gronk is much more trustworthy week to week than VD.

I like this deal, but only thing about the deal I dont like is what ifs with sproles then that leshoure piece will bite you in the ass. I think it was a good move though.
