Trade 2 RBs for Ray Rice?

Standard ESPN league start 2RBs, 2 WRs and a flex
I am in first place at 7-3, seven teams behind me at 6-4 including the other team involved in the trade.
I was trying to solidify my team and I made a trade offer. He came back to me with

I get Ray Rice
He gets Steven Ridley and Alfred Morris

I know I lose 2 pretty solid performers but I have been living week to week worrying that either one or both will lose the starting job or start splitting carries. Plus Ridley's playoff schedule is brutal

Also if I make the trade, Beanie is a free agent and I will probably pick him up to fill in as a flex choice with my WRs.

I would make this trade Rice is upgrade on Morris. You have depth and could certainly get Wells off WW os you are really trading for Rice and Wells for the to RBS

I would do this one. The upgrade from Morris to Rice is pretty huge, and only giving up Ridey seems to be worth it.

I'm in the minority, I would NOT do that trade. I am a big believer in Stevan Ridley and Morris has been right there with him. By losing 1 of those RB, you'd have to start either Alex Green or Brandon Lloyd at flex every week and I don't think the upgrade from ridley to Rice would cover that disparity.

Would it change your outlook any if I told you it was PPR with Rice and I start Amendola

If I make the deal I can flex either Beanie, Jordy Nelson, or maybe even Garcon if he comes back
