Marques Colston for Alfred Morris? WHIR

Postby Montana168 » Wed Nov 14, 2012 4:54 pm

It is a 10 team h2h DYNASTY league (keep entire 30 man roster each year). Non-PPR; all TDs are 6 points.

I GET: Alfred Morris
I GIVE: Marques Colston

Torn on this offer. My flex position has been my weakest all year as I cannot seem to hit on any free agents waiver wire gems. I have solid upside flier RB depth, but nothing that has been productive. Long-term I am not worried about my WR depth, but moving Colston, while having A Brown and Jennings out with injury, would force me to start Decker, Amendola and a free agent waiver WR (the best is currently Ryan Broyles and Danario Alexander).

As always post a link, and I will help you out as well. Here is my roster:

QB Matt Ryan
WR Marques Colston
WR Eric Decker
WR Danny Amendola
RB Rashad Jennings
RB Frank Gore
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB/WR Jonathan Stewart
BN Antonio Brown (INJ)
BN Greg Jennings (INJ)
BN Maurice Jones-Drew (INJ)
BN Alex Green
BN Chris Ivory
BN Alex Smith
BN Shane Vereen
BN Robert Turbin
BN Nick Foles

K Justin Tucker
DEF SF DEF
BN DEN DEF

I like this trade especially becasue it is a dynasty league. For right now I think that it is a pretty equal trade, but WRs are much easier to come by than RBs on the WW.

help me out?

I think this trade marginally helps you. I think it gives an everyday go to back but MJD should be back soon. I think I would go for it.

Please help

I agree Colston can be hit or miss with Brees spreading the ball around. Morris has had a solid year and is definitely someone to look at for dynasty leagues. I'd make the move.

thanks for your help. i agree with others: i'd take this deal easily. morris will be more valuable to your team than colston in my opinion, as decker and amendola are solid wrs to plug in, even if you have to play waiver wire for 3rd one. morris in that rb/wr spot is much better than stewart. and with mojo back, you will have 3 very solid rbs to play.
PPR for QB, RB, WR; 1 pt. per 10 yds.; 6 pt. TD; 1 pt. per 15 return yds.

W/R: Ridley
Bench: McCoy, Mathews, Bryce Brown, Kaepernick, B. Powell, Gronkowski

All things even, I take the RB over the WR. I'd do the trade.

Thanks for the help.
