RB/WB Flex help. WHIR!!

Postby doromo » Thu Nov 15, 2012 1:26 am

Need help with my flex. Good options against weak defenses this week is starting to make my head spin.

-12-man standard league-

Here is what I have starting right now:
QB Tom Brady
RB Rashard Mendenhall
RB Mikel Leshoure
RB/WR Michael Turner
WR Marques Colston
WR Torrey Smith
TE Jimmy Graham
D/ST Patriots D/ST
K Shayne Graham

My Bench:
James Jones, GB WR
LaRod Stephens-Howling, Ari RB
Jets D/ST D/ST
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buf QB
Greg Jennings*, GB WR O

BYES:
Sidney Rice, Sea WR
Lawrence Tynes, NYG K

Should I put in James Jones over anyone of them?
Or LaRod Stephens who is playing a very bad defense?

WHIR!!

That's what I was thinking but looking at weeks 8 and 9 I have a slight feeling that that could happen again and he could have a huge game....

NO was a good matchup and look what he did. We know Turner is no longer a burner, so the bulk of his value is in TD's. He has one of if not the worse goal line to go TD rates in the entire league. I trust James Jones getting open more likely than I do Turner scoring. The guy has a history of fading as the season goes on.

Make sure Mendenhall is going to play and he has not setbacks. Steelers will run alot with backup QB in there, so if Mendenhall plays he should easily get double digit carries. One more stat regarding Turner. Last week against NO he had 13 carries for 15yds!!! To make it worse, one of his carries went for 9yds. That means his other 12 carries went for 6yds. J*s*s Chr*st that is horrible. Mendenhall should be able to be better than that. For that matter LSH should do better than that.
