Trading for Trich? WHIR

Trying to get Trich from another owner thats pretty much out of the playoff race and wrecked with injuries

I get:
Trent Richardson

The owner accepted but then the commissioner of our league vetoed it in less then a day. I thought the trade was fair and even offered to throw in maclin or Hernandez if I needed to

What do you guys think anyway I can try and convince the commish to accept this trade?

I can see why it was veto'd. We're talking fair-to-middlin' players for a RB1. And given the fact that the other guy is out of the playoffs, it makes it "suspicious" enough to warrant the veto. Even with Hernandez added, it seems you would be the only person benefiting from this trade. Who else is on your squad? You may have to throw in someone better (but perhaps has less-than-favorable playoff match-ups?) to make this a viable trade. It gets sticky for commissioners at this time of year (take it from a commissioner - I know)

It depends on how bad the other guy's roster is. I mean if he's so hurt that SJax, Britt, and Rice would all be starters on his team, then the trade makes sense for him. It also depends on how deep the league is. If it's an 8 team league then depth players like that have essentially no value, but if it's a 12 team league then that's a different story. Overall I think vetoing the trade is uncalled for.
