In our league, we only have two windows during the season to alter our rosters. There is a supplemental draft after week 5, and another supplemental draft after week 11. In next week's supplemental draft, we will pay $2 per pick.
Also, our league rewards scoring plays only. Touches and yards don't matter.
We have 5 running backs on our rosters, and we start 3 each week. Injuries, suspensions, and inconsistent playing time have killed me this year. Here are the five guys on my roster:
MJD Jamaal Charles Ryan Mathews Donald Brown Brandon Bolden
One of my top priorities in next week's supplemental draft will be to replace Bolden. Here are some of the guys available:
Chris Ivory Rashad Jennings Isaac Redman Marcel Reece Shane Vereen Jonathan Dwyer Beanie Wells Cedric Benson
Right now, I am leaning toward targeting Ivory. I am open to suggestions. Remember, touchdowns are all that matter.
Wow, this is quite the unique league! Interesting stuff.
According to Pro Football Focus, these are the projected TD's for your squad and the targets you listed. The first number is projected rushing TD's, the second is projected receiving TD's; the third is the total TD's projected:
In your league, the top 5 runners, as projected by Pro Football Focus, between your squad and the free agents are:
Ryan Matthews (4) Jamaal Charles (3) Beanie Wells (3) Shane Vereen (3) Donald Brown (2) (I project him over MJD because of the unknown nature of Jones-Drew's comeback; and I rank him above Ivory because he's already on your squad and he's the main running back in IND, as opposed to the committee situation in NO currently)
Good luck!
- broseph Standard Format: Aaron Rodgers, Josh Freeman; Doug Martin, Jamaal Charles, Maurice Jones-Drew, Vick Ballard, Pierre Thomas; AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Stevie Johnson; Jason Witten, Vernon Davis; Stephen Gostkowski; Chicago
I may be making a similar post regarding pass catchers (WR+TE). If you happen to see it and have the time to do the same kind of analysis, that would be awesome.
BTW, this is a very old school league that's been around a long time. This is my first year in it. I didn't realize it was a money league until I was already at the draft, lol.
After the first five weeks this season, I was 4-1 and led the league in points. Now I am 5-5 and sitting 8th in points. It's a 12 team league.
Give me your TE's and WR's and I'll get you the data

Our WR's and TE's are all lumped together. We have six on our rosters and start four each week. The scoring is the same as the runners. We get scoring plays only.
Currently, I have:
Marques Colston Dwayne Bowe Darrius Heyward-Bey Heath Miller Kyle Rudolph Jason Witten
Here are some guys available:
MIke Williams Sidney Rice Titus Young Kenny Britt Brandon Pettigrew Santana Moss Scott Chandler Greg Olsen Randy Moss Brandon Stokley Jacoby Jones
I am thinking that Williams and Rice would outproduce just about any of my guys except Colston. Witten has been my least productive. He gets lots of catches and yards, but not scores.
- broseph Standard Format: Aaron Rodgers, Josh Freeman; Doug Martin, Jamaal Charles, Maurice Jones-Drew, Vick Ballard, Pierre Thomas; AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Stevie Johnson; Jason Witten, Vernon Davis; Stephen Gostkowski; Chicago
Your Team Colston: 5 Miller: 3 Rudolph: 3 Witten: 2 DHB: 2 Bowe: 2
Available guys Williams: 4 Britt: 2 Rice: 3 Titus: 3 S Moss: 2 R Moss: 2 Stokley: 2 Jacoby: 1 Pettigrew: 2 Chandler: 3 Olsen: 2
So,it seems keeping Colston and Miller is a good idea, while picking up Williams, Titus, and Rice sounds solid.
Again, these are all just projections. Good luck!
