Holy cow, this is actually a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. Flacco is putrid on the road, and PIT's passing defense is extremely good. Then there's Foles. Ugh... I mean, maybe he'll be more confident after a week of practice as the starter under center, but I mean the O line for PHI is atrocious. On the other hand, WAS doesn't exactly get to the Q very often. And we all know their passing D is not very good. But here's something to consider: Washington's run D has been porous as of late. Not the same as the beginning of the year. Here's a fairly reliable scenario: Shady runs the ball A LOT for PHI this week. This opens up the pass game every now and again for.... Foles.... ugh I just can't bring myself to give a vote of confidence for Foles.
Go with Flacco. At least there's a chance he'll do okay in this division matchup. Yikes, man I feel for ya. Not good choices. Go with the guy who's started all year. Maybe - JUST MAYBE - he can follow up an amazing home performance with a decent outing against AFC North rival Steelers. PHI has been a mess all year long. If I'm you, I (begrudgingly) start Flacco.
GOOD
LUCK
