And now, for my normally long-winded, lengthy reply...
GB's middle-of-the-road run defense isn't going to slow down LeShoure's hot "hand" (leg??), and it's certainly not going to shut him down. (sure, 43 yards from scimage wasn't great last week, but that was against the MIN front 7 - top 3 in the league, imho). Some "sexy" writers are saying DET v GB will be a shootout; but anybody who's a DET fan knows that games aren't being won and lost on Stafford's arm this year. They must the run ball today if they have a shot at this all-important division battle. LeShoure bounces back this week.
The fanfare for Cecil Shorts is a bit over-the-top. The guy can make plays, but let's keep in mind it's Blaine G throwing him the ball. Anyone out there totally confident in his abilities to lead a team under center? Didn't think so. That's probably why he's owned in less than 1% of leagues (Gabert that is, not Shorts). And remind me who the Jags are playing against this week again? I... don't... recall...
OH YEAH, THATS RIGHT - HOUSTON'S #3 RANKED PASSING DEFENSE! Cecil - and his fanfare - will be silenced today. Bank on it.
Denario Alexander scored over 19 fantasy points last week in standard formats.... which is more than three times the amount he's earned ALL SEASON. Seriously, did anyone know who this guy was before last week? DEN's defense has heated up in the second half of the season. Alexander returns to obscurity this week.
All the best!
