Kicking field goals is obviously always a bit of a tossup, but Akers IS the better kicker. And I feel like, with Alex Smith out, they'll be throwing fewer touchdowns than they normally would. Especially against such a turnover-happy defense in Chicago, San Francisco will probably run the ball a lot and kick a bunch of field goals.

Stick with Gould. He's money.

I think Gould is your guy. Chicago gets plenty of turnovers, and with Cutler out that will translate into FGs rather than XPs. Akers may hit a long FG but I dont see him going for 10+ tonight, I like Gould's chances better in this one... though I'd rather avoid relying on kickers in the first place :-D
