Gronk is out for 4-8 weeks with his broken forearm, should i just cut my losses and drop him for another tight-end, or should i keep him on my bench hoping he comes back at some point, dropping one of my other players?

depends if it's a keeper league......and it's rules.......and where you have him at.....General rule if keeper hold, if not consider dropping.....
If you have other slugs would drop one and hold a week or so and see what happens it's amazing how fast things can change.....

No way you drop Gronk - he could be back in time for fantasy playoffs.
I'd look to drop someone else from your bench and find another serviceable TE in the meantime
help on mine?

It sorta depends what's available, but I'd likely keep him stashed until we get more news.
Mine?

hold onto him, original diagnosis could be off... what, you waste a week or two with a bench spot? not that big a deal to let go of a monster like gronk.

I myself have Gronk and won't think about dropping him. I believe he'll be back just in time for hopefully my Championship game. Keep him unless things change

If this is a keeper league I would suggest holding on to him and grabbing another TE to fill in. If not a keeper, I would still hold on to him until more is known on his injury and recovery time before thinking about dropping him altogether and someone in your league picks him up for their benefit.
Post your roster to see if you have another alternative to drop besides Gronk.

Depending on your situation I would try to keep him. Even if he comes back for one play off game he's worth it if you have wiggle room.
